I'd like some pointers, and some help with the basics

Hello, I've just recently rented an NFO server, and I wish to host DarkRP, and I'd like some help and pointers. I've gotten maps down, all that confuses me is gamemodes addons, etc. I have darkrp as a gamemode ATM but im not entirely sure how I did It, and Id like to add the modification addon for it so i can actually change things. If someone could help or redirect me to a board for making darkrp servers, Id appreciate it greatly
