Garrysmod and Steampipe
I tried to update as garrysmod has updated to steampipe today. How long will it take for the conversion?

We will be handling the update like normal and converting the server over to Steam Pipe when it comes required.
It doesn't look like Garry has pushed out the client side update yet so rolling it out now wouldn't be the best thing at the moment.

The game has been updated, or I wouldn't be updating it right now?

Garry said he rolled out the update but no one has actually gotten it from Steam.
People are complaining about this on his site when the update was released:

Right now the only way to get the client update is to verify the cache for the game.
Since more and more clients are manually updating, and it's generally best to keep up with the latest versions of games, we're in the process of updating all servers to the new SteamPipe version (and posted an Event about it).

I have received the update and that's why I posted the topic to start with. I did however re-install my windows and install garrymods about 5 hours ago which auto installed the latest update with steampipe requirement,
