Need basic help, A little confused

Hi! I'm trying to run a TTT server, However I can't seem to add the gamemode or Maps.
I have no idea how to do anything. I'm using the easy setup but I still can't get anything to work. My server just won't respond, It says it is up but it's not responding and nobody can get on

Make sure your starting gamemode is set to "terrortown" without the quotes. As for the server crashing it sounds like you tried to set the starting map to either a broken one or a non-existent one. Have you actually uploaded the map that you want to run to your maps directory using FTP? If so, then the map may be broken, and you should either re-upload it or remove it.
