What firewall rules to use?

I'm wondering how to set up my firewall rules for the best DDoS protection for my GMOD server. All help is appreciated.

There's no real "golden filter" for blocking attacks, as there are many different vectors that are possible, many of which mimic legitimate traffic. Attempting to block them preemptively, without know how they might manifest can often hurt legitimate traffic more than protect it.

It's best to operate business as usual and if you feel you are being attacked, please go to the Firewall tab of your control panel and run a detailed capture as quickly as possible, then a regular capture. You can then inform us through a support request using the Help! tab on your control panel, or by emailing support@nfoservers.com from the email address listed on your account.

Also, please don't copy the capture directly to us in the support request. We will be able to see it in your control panel.
