Setting up a new VDS?

Hey everyone, Does anyone know how to correctly make a gmod virtual server? I have access to the VNC console and SSH (although i am having troubles setting up SSH)

No offense, but you seem a little bit in over your head

Have you considered a simple game server rental instead of a virtual machine?

You can use putty to connect to your linux virtual server via SSH: http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgta ... nload.html

From there you will need to use steamcmd to install the game server. You can google guides for this.
