Basic Question related to player profiles

Post by Wrangler »

My apologies if this is out of the context of what this forum is intended to provide. I wouldn't have brought this here except that I've googled the crap out of this and have come up empty.

When you are in CS:GO and hit tab to see the player list some of them have a clan designation in a column left of their name. I'm trying to figure out how to add this to my profile but can't find where to be entered.

I know from CS 1.6 and Source that you are able to go into the game, choose options, and then select multiplayer. Unfortunately, CS:GO doesn't have the same feature to make the adjustment.

In options-->game settings:

Not embedding it because it stretches the forum out.

Thanks, that helped. I'm kind of unimpressed at the lack of flexibility using this feature. I'm old CS (HL) and I remember Valve being much more flexible with customization things like this. Seems you can only choose a group you belong to. I instead elected to put the tag as part of my name.

Thanks for the help.

Yeah even the CS:S implementation is better, in GO it seems you need to scroll 1 by 1 to find your tag, which can be a problem when you are a part of 20+ groups like me.

Anyway, you're welcome!
