For the maxplayers, make sure to also edit gamemodes.txt to set appropriate amounts for each map. And, note that you will only see 10 players on the scoreboard in-game, even when more people are playing, due to current game limitations.

Search for the term "maxplayers" in the gamemodes.txt file and this will guide you.

-tickrate xxx would need to be placed on the command line.

How do so many of you guys have access to the dedicated server files? I'm feeling left out here...

You did fill out the survey, correct?

Yessir! Almost right when it was put up. I'm feeling like my account/name was somehow dropped from the list but who really knows, eh?

They are giving out a lot of keys, shouldn't be long before everyone on Steam has one.

I was kind of shocked when I came home today and not only had a key waiting for me, but they gave me a second to gift to a friend. Got a server online now, and it was relatively easy to get setup. I have to say, so far Im very impressed by the quality of the graphics. Game looks incredible!!!

I just got a GO server and everything has been going smoothly, the set up has been largely similar to the CSS and other servers I've set up, however I'm running into once issue that I can't find an answer too, maybe I'm just googling poorly, regardless.

How do I change the gamemode for different maps. It defaults on all maps to casual classic, even on gungame and demolition maps, and I would prefer to have it run classic competitive on DE and CS maps. How do I change the game mode for maps or map groups?

You can set the game mode and type in the cfg/autoexec.cfg file. You can also likely set them on a per-map basis through gamemodes.txt.

Just got a CSGO server from NFO and am having some difficulty setting it up. I want to have a 24/7 office, max cash at the beginning of each round, Mani plug in installed, and restrict a few weapons. There doesn't seem to be alot of info in the net due to the game not being released yet. Can anyone point me to where I can help with this?
Thanks
