.7z custom map files?

Post by achhun02 »

how do you add a map thats a .7z file instead of the regular .bsp?

im trying to add awp_bycastor32_3.7z

it says its not a valid bsp file.

i tried renaming the file to

awp_bycastor32_3.bsp

still says it.

That is the compression storage file that contains the map within. Extract it with WinRAR or WinZip or something....

Hello achhung02,

You will need to first extract the file using 7-Zip.

You can download the application from here: 32-bit OR 64-bit
NOTE: You will need to choose whether you have 32-bit or 64-bit Windows...if in doubt...try installing the 64 bit version...if it fails...install the 32-bit version.

Once you extract it, upload it to your game server using the method of your choice. I would also encourage you to enable websync so the downloads for the users will be faster :).

Hope this helps!
