generating debug.log?

How can I set the "-debug" command line option for my server?

This option should already be on servers here, but it doesn't often provide useful information.

Where is the debug.log located? My server recently started crashing at random times... can't seem to determine the problem

If the game is generating it correctly, it should be in the root folder of the server, but also keep in mind that this only works with Linux servers.
