CSGO WORKSHOP problem #2

Post by lilly »

I have a 24/7 dust2_se server thru workshop, it stays on dust2_se for a long time but sometimes the map just changes for some odd reason. Total round is 999999 and voting is disable. Please help me

heres the map id 125488374

Does it change to another map or does it reload the same map? If it's just reloading the same map then I wouldn't worry about it. It's actually recommended that you reload the map here and there if you plan on keeping it on a single map for a long time.

That doesn't seem to be a valid collection.

The reason I want to see your collection is I want to see if there are more maps in it. Ideally you'd be better off just keeping a single map in it.

However, make sure you have mp_timelimit set to 0, if I remember correctly it should just fall back to the rounds. I'd also set the rounds to something around 90 and then let the map reload for performance reasons.

It is also possible you are setting this value in the incorrect config. What gamemode are you playing?

That is definitely odd. When it switches the map does it go to the same map each time or is it random?

Slight necro, but for information's sake there is a convar called "sv_workshop_allow_other_maps" that is defaulted to on.

There are bug reports that it still allows people to change the map even if it is off,

but I'm not sure if it was fixed yet as I seem to remember it not working just a couple of months ago
