Battleye Init Failed

Post by clock »

For some reason, when starting my server, I keep getting the output
17:27:28 Dedicated host created.
17:27:31 BattlEye initialization failed
No clue why.
Here is the shortcut I launch from
Target:

Code: Select all

C:\Games\ArmA3\A3Master\arma3server.exe -profiles=C:\Games\Arma3\A3Master" -config=CONFIG_server.cfg -world=empty
Start In:

Code: Select all

C:\Games\ArmA3\A3Master
Config File Config_server.cfg
Please note:
  • I have not put a mission file in yet.
  • I even disabled battleye here. And the server still gives me this error.
  • Windows Firewall was completely disabled for this test.

Code: Select all

//
// server.cfg
//
// comments are written with "//" in front of them.

// NOTE: More parameters and details are available at http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/server.cfg

Re: Battleye Init Failed

Figured out my issue.

Code: Select all

C:\Games\ArmA3\A3Master\arma3server.exe -profiles=C:\Games\Arma3\A3Master" -config=CONFIG_server.cfg -world=empty
I forgot the " before -profiles.
It should be

Code: Select all

C:\Games\ArmA3\A3Master\arma3server.exe "-profiles=C:\Games\Arma3\A3Master" -config=CONFIG_server.cfg -world=empty

Have you tried manually installing the Battleye files from http://www.battleye.com/downloads/ ?
