Hi all
I've just put a request in to use the parameters file method of loading mods due to the length of our mod list. I understand that to load a different set of mods (assuming I've already uploaded them to the server)I just upload a differnet 'parameters.txt' file
One question if I don't want to load any mods at all, which do I do:
1. Delete the parameters.txt file
2. Delete all the contents of the file but leave the file on the server
3. Put the following entries in the file:
-mod=
-servermod=
4. Something else
Cheers Lee

Re: Using parameters file
Assuming that you use a parameter.txt file and not a .par file (which is loaded automatically on server start, if present in the server's root folder), to not load any mods, you would just not define the -par=paramters.txt startup parameter. You do not have to delete the parameter.txt file.
Methods like defining empty parameters is not recommend with ArmA, as they (can) cause problems, for example, -mod=, -servermod=, -par=, ....
