Arma2OA.server.config
I can not get this to work right, I do not know why?
I have tried altering all the server.config files and still it wont alter. What am I doing wrong

What is it that you are altering inside the config that is not working?

Are you thinking of the cfg/server.cfg file?

Are you editing it with the server turned off? ArmA2 requires that the server be turned off to edit any of the configuration files.

yes I edited it with the server off, and it is the profile.cfg that I am trying to change. I have gone into cfg/users/server and set the OA2.profile.cfg or whatever is is exactly called. I have set the following parameter to it
difficulty="veteran"
but it wont work, I was wondering what I am doing worng as it seems to work on other servers

That appears to be set in server.cfg, under "class Missions", and not in another file. Have you tried adjusting the difficulty for each class in that section?

Pretty sure that the skill level has to be set per each mission..recruit regualr veteran etc etc..when you log into the server control in-game and click on "missions" brings you to the page with all the islands missions etc..be sure "veteran" is highlighted then pick the mission..hope this helps.
