ARMA2 Server Syncronization Issue with Squad Mate

Hello everyone,

I currently run an ARMA2: CO server on my VDS and as of late, we have been having issues with my squad mate. He is able to be shot, knocked down (We utilize ACE and ACRE), healed, etc but cannot interact with anything. He is unable to get in vehicles, access gear crates, interact with players, etc. We can hear him via voice and acre radios and he is able to move around. Just not interact with anything. This issue only occurs when we run ACE Wounds Domination and ACE Wounds Insurgency. We had used Invasion 1944 before and he seemed to be ok. No issues when we ran that mod. Now that we are back to ACE and ACRE the issues are massing. We've tried just about everything. A clean version of domination and insurgency still cause the issues as well. My thoughts are its something in the coding of those missions (because they have many different scripts) that could be causing an issue. If only one client is having the problem, it could also be a strange network problem or a corruption issue with his client files. Has he tried wiping and reinstalling his copy of the game?

Beyond that, the ACE guys would be the best ones to ask about this.

Update on the situation.

This issue only occurs after he is killed. Once he is killed and respawns, he can then no longer interact with anything. Side chat doesn't work, ace doesn't work, acre, regular VON doesn't work, etc.

Any ideas on the issue?

Has he tried the client reinstall that I mentioned before?

sounds like a scripting error in the INIT file when he respawns is he set as - rating towards Civilian ? as when you are hostile to civlians by default you cannot acces most gear as it is a civilian class object.


doesnt seem like a server hosting issue personally
