Unable to play own created mission due to missing content.

I am getting an error every time I try to load this mission I made.

2013/06/13, 20:34:10 Warning Message: You cannot play/edit this mission; it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.cba_xeh_oa

I have not been able to use my server in almost 1-2 days and it is driving me and my friends insane. Does anyone have any fix for it?

I am not 100% sure, but I think I got that on an old server running dayz invasions.

We were using @CBA_CO which I think was causing the error.
It's a combination to replace @CBA;@CBA_A2;@CBA_OA

We found using @CBA;@CBA_A2;@CBA_OA instead of the @CBA_CO fixed it.

Actually not the same error, but close.
We troubleshooted quiet a bit here.

Also post your commandline so we can look at it.

And make sure in your commandline, where you have -mods= , make sure anything listed after the '=', actually has a folder the corresponds to the mod your calling.

-mod=@dayz_chernarus;@CBA_CO; would require both those folders.

Also in that other thread, you will alos read that when putting your mods in the commandline, it's suggested that they have to be in a certain order. One has to be called before some of the others.

Seems to be almost the same thing as in the other thread I posted, except the error is not exactly the same.

Have you tried reinstalling all the mods again in case something was corrupt?

I am not sure if it matters if it's uploaded in binary, ascii, or just auto.

Yeah we thought it was a corrupt issue at first but after doing a reinstall, still the same error.

What surprises me is that you are getting this error on the client-side, as you are the one who created and packaged the mission. This means that you should have all the libraries that your mission requries (or is this error output from the server?).

Anyway, if you used ACE objects, you are missing to load either/both ACEX_USNavy, ACEX_RU.

Please post your .RPT file; also from your mission, the first few lines from your mission.sqm that state the required Add-Ons, this means the add-Ons[] and addOnsAuto[] classes.

Your -mod= line is missing the ca part I think, plus the mentioned ACEX_USNavy and ACEX_RU libraries.

Your main problem though (if I am not mistaken :) ) is that you are trying to load the cba_xeh_oa.pbo, which is part of CBA_CO and you do not load this (you load the A2, OA and CBA parts).

To correct this, delete the lines cba_xeh_oa.pbo from your mission.sqm (BACKUP COPY FIRST!) and package/upload the mission again.

Your -mod line should look something like this then:

-mod=arma2;expansion;ca;@CBA_A2;@CBA_OA;@CBA;@ACE;@ACEX;@ACEX_USNavy;@ACEX_RU;

If possible, I can also recommend the use of CBA_CO only, if your server permits this (beta required); which would also solve your problem with the missing Add-On without editing the mission.sqm.

That seems to have fixed it! Now we just have the wrong ACE version between the server and ourselves or the other way around depending on the person. We got this from here :). Much thanks.

I am glad that it worked. For keeping ACE up-to-date I can always recommend Play with Six, both on the client and the server.

Have fun with ACE :D !
