Good vid, and I agree, vote with your wallet and stop buying their crap. I regret my BF4 purchase, I have not bought the DLC nor do I plan to. I do not plan to buy Titanfall either. Respawn has sold out to EA just as well. I tried the beta, couldn't even complete the training for the game, it was just that bad.

Well each game/engine is going to handle it differently. So comparing BF4's tickrate to a tickrate of 66 in CS:S isn't a perfect comparison.

No, the current retail game is not 30 tick rate....They are testing a 30 tick rate in the CTE(Community Testing Environment). It is it's own version of the game that is downloaded and ran separately from the retail version through Origin still and runs on separate servers.

With that said, I do agree with Kraze that you can't really make fair comparisons to another game/engine...however, I think BattleField 3 at this point in its life cycle was faarrrrr better off then BF4 is. I'm not even gonna pretend I know what the problems are or how to fix them...all I do know is this game still has some major flaws/issues!

Yeah, you're right it's not fair to compare it like that. This video does explain it a lot of the problems I've seen.. Especially why a player with a higher ping has an advantage over a player with a decent ping.

The current tick rate is 10. This can be easily confirmed running WireShark.
Its a funny number, because it means certain guns, like the Famas, dont actually get their full potential. It fires 1000 RPM. With a 10hz Tick Rate and added player latency, the server side will never actually update the total rounds fired, to the client properly.

Interesting to consider.
