OK. Not ranting here but hopefully we can look into this and gain some insight into what may or may not be typical Blazing events. This is about the 5th or 6th instance of mass player drops I have witnessed on our 64 Slot server. The most recent did indeed exhibit the typical Blaze event signs with the map & server continuing to run but mass player disconnects. Players report being disconnected from server. Logs via procon & my PB logs confirm connection lost.

What's a bit odd, or at least seems different is that this Blaze event appears to occur at a specific interval in the map rotation. I've watched it now and can confidently say that almost if not all of the mass disconnects are occurring at the end of the round on last map and in transition to the first map in the list. It is Caspian CNQ large. Not sure if it's map specific or simply related to the server returning to the beginning of the map list? It has happened specifically at this point in every instance I have witnessed. Coincidence? I don't know.

What I do know is that it is extremely frustrating to seed, fill, and watch it drop multiple times within a 24 hour window. Another odd thing is as Tim referenced in another thread sometimes these mass player disconnects are accompanied by what appears to be a new server up-time reset yet when reporting via customer support I'm being told the server appeared to not have crashed or restarted?

John can you shed some light on this for me?

Bump. Another instance of exact same disconnect scenario just occurred again. Mass server disconnects. Rotating back to 1st map in cycle "Caspian CNQ Large". Very odd as server was able to accept new connections immediately after the mass disconnect.

Can 100% confirm mass disconnects and not typical end of round players leaving. In TS3 with several playing on the server reported "loading icon" going into infinite loop w/no map load. They all had to initiate another instance of "join server".

I'm seeing this happen too -- a lot today (Sunday) on our server. I'm wondering if players are getting kicked because they don't have Second Assault expansion. We sometimes see large drops in server pop when the SA maps hit -- because it's early access for Premium Members only. Can anyone confirm if players without Second Assault can get into a server running SA maps when a non SA map is up. I also think this has to do with the server icon for SA only showing on a server when an SA map is up. We had 60 players on an original map then it went to Caspian and we lost 40 of the players which never happened to us before we added SA maps in the rotation.

This huge population drop further creates an issue with extremely uneven teams as people start leaving when the population dips that low. It's so frustrating I'm consider pulling all SA maps out of rotation.

Before SA our server used to stay full at 60 slots most all the time.

We have been seeing this but on our server we only have it as a premium maps so it has SA and CR on it and it will randomly drop 30 + connections then NFO says server apears to be fine

Chalk up about 4 more of these dumps on a full 64. Most recent apparently a SA server crash bug.
I have never seen this many Blazes and/or Server crashes within 72 hours.

This is not related to second assault. I don't have SA maps in my rotation because less than half of my regulars are premium, and I'm having this issue as well last one about an hour ago or so.
