TDM Sound Broke Again?! (Mar 17th)

WHAT?! The last server update fixed this but now the problem is mysteriously back? I don't understand how this is so. Was there a phantom "update" of some sort that was pushed through? Or is this another one of those deals that somehow the backend systems that they have control of have influence over. Cause remember that map rotation problem we were all seeing and how they were able to do something on their backend to fix it?

So, I ask again... WTF is going on here?

Okay, a little update here... It seems to only be my 48 player TDM rotation server with the problem. I've asked others about their TDM servers and they say they aren't having the problem. Also, my 24/7 TDM Gulf of Oman server seems to be fine and without this problem as well.

Another update!

I've had spies from my TDM server visit other servers and they reported back saying that the sound bug is indeed back and it goes out at 100 tickets. Maybe it's just a few select servers with the problem while the others do not. Or maybe the issue it slowly creeping across the board soon to hit all of the TDM servers.

If you guys at NFO didn't install a ninja server update late lastnight, then I think they are messing around with stuff on the backend that is causing this. We all recently figure out how doing things on the backend can actually influence deep elements of the server/game (such as the way the map rotation acts).

People are probably around, but busy, or have no knowledge of this issue(like me).

I gave up on BF4 after spending $100 on top of our $200 dedi cost, and not being able to keep the servers up with players in them, although we got numerous replies about having the best performance they had seen in the first month of BF4 :D

okay, somehow it fixed itself in between lastnight and today. Maybe it was after that R30 was applied. And I wasn't the only one getting this. Quite a few other TDM servers were as well.

Indicate something like:
Joining a high ticket TDM/SQDM sound after 100 kills should not trigger EOR sound on clients.
Not quite sure what that means, but it has something to do with TDM, sound, and 100 tickets :P

Well, soja, to avoid confusion...

This bug had already come and gone. Before R29, the bug was there where it would, indeed, cut out sound at 100 tickets. Then, about a week ago, the R29 server update had come out and been applied which fixed the sound issue. Yesterday, however, without any sort of client or server update, the bug made a return to a few select servers (seemed like all were NFO incidentally - didn't find any that were non-NFO). Now, on this the next day after R30 had come out and been applied at around 3:00am PDT, it seems that the sound is back to normal and in working order. I'm not sure if that is actually due to the R30 update, a server restart, or them doing something on the backend that somehow fixed it.

They did it again today, March 25th! They messed around with something on the backend that is somehow affecting the sound on our TDM servers! I'm soooo irritated right now!

Okay, I restarted the server and am gonna try to refill it tomorrow. If it continues to cut out the sound at 100 tickets, I'm going to put in a Support Request since it seems that no one else is having this issue on their TDM servers.
