That's tempting, but I'll remain hopeful that we won't need it! DICE still has a month to tweak things. Maybe the game and their infrastructure will be super-stable .

Well I know that my clan isn't ready to pay a much higher fee, if it isn't reasonable then unfortunately it will mean the total cancellation of our vds.

Do we know enough yet (likely not till sometime into beta) to determine what an adequate VPS setup for BF4 would be? Can we assume a 3 core VPS would be sufficient or perhaps 4 core minimum?

I would assume 2 cores per server, based on frostbite 2 usage.

Minimum is 3 cores for managed, so 3 cores should run a 64 player fine.

We won't know its multithreading capabilities until some time into beta where NFO can evaluate usage.

Yeah... sounds good. Will likely start with 4 core as we're planning on launching with 2 64's and a 32. Thanks.
