BF4 - GameTracker could not scan the server
Just curious...
Anyone with a NFO server in Chicago data center unable to add their server to GameTracker.com on port 25200? Looks to be an issue with GameTracker but I'm curious if anyone else was running into this issue.
I've seen other NFO servers on port 25200 added (maybe out of NYC) but I'm not sure I've seen CHI servers on their listing.
I doubt John would be blocking the following IPs, hehe
Gametracker scanning IP addresses:
208.167.241.190
208.167.241.185
208.167.241.186
108.61.78.147
108.61.78.148
108.61.78.149
108.61.78.150

Re: BF4 - GameTracker could not scan the server
Gametracker likely requires that port 47200 be entered as the query port, and 25200 as the client connection port. These are the game's defaults, so it's a bit odd that they wouldn't also default to them, but this site is an advertising vehicle for one of our competitors, and it's possible that they tailored it to match how they configure their own servers.
(fairFight is supposed to also use port 25200 for its traffic with BF4, so any provider that is using that right now will likely need to change it, once they get FF working properly.)

Re: BF4 - GameTracker could not scan the server
Thank you. I used 47200 and that worked great.
I agree, I dislike posting about a 3rd party products here. Maybe some day (if it fits into your business model) you will add some type of tracking. To be honest I choose NFO servers for just that.. servers.. which is what you do best and what is most important for us. Game tracking is a nice-to-have but I'm sure others will agree that we prefer to have you guys focus on the network & server architecture.
Keep up the great work! And say thank you to the whole team over there for me.

hiimcody1 has been working on a banner/tracking system and we hope to expose that to the public soon .

I had same issues with GT, just enter the IP of your server, disregard the port of 30000 and hit enter, it will error out. Then you add the correct stuff, 25200/47200 or whatever it is for Join/Query then you're good to go.
Re: BF4 - GameTracker could not scan the server
I tried to claim ours tonight after changing name to "Gametracker" and changing ports, no dice.

Re: BF4 - GameTracker could not scan the server
Try gametrackerclaimserver. That's How I did it.
The port you have to use is 47200

Yes DiMeNsIoNs. Procon works just fine.DiMeNsIoNs wrote:Anyone able to connect with Procon to your BF4 server yet ? If so am I missing a step here on how to connect ? What port / address is everyone using >??
Open up your NFO Control Panel -->
For the Server IP, look on the 'Description' tab, grab the "Address" (or 'Plain IP')
For the Port, use 47200
For the username, leave it BLANK
For the Password, look on the 'Easy setup' tab for the 'Rcon password'
