BF4 - PunkBuster not running (?)

Trying to configure PunkBuster, but it appears it is not responding to commands. Anyone else see that?

Example command:
punkBuster.pb_sv_command pb_sv_ver

The server is 'Ranked', and the 'Enable Punkbuster' is grey-checked.

PB is broken as of right now.

Hopefully they get it working soon.

It's being auto deactivated for now. If you use the punkBuster.activate rcon command it will start it again however it will shut down after a period of time.

From what I know it's not a bug with PB itself. It's likely caused from something that DICE created for BF3 but I am not able to discuss what that is.

Also streaming is not working and is giving many header mismatch errors. Hopefully that will be fixed soon as well.

Same is true with FairFight? I ran a query on both punkBuster.isActive and fairFight.isActive and both returned false.

Do we have to add PB files in ourselves to Stream to PBBans or will they be up soon for access. I checked our server and didn't see the PB files in either Server Control nor using an FTP?

PB is included with the server and we aren't allowed to give customers access to the actual DLL files. DICE determines when it runs. It's normally supposed to run on all ranked/official servers, but they've been fiddling with it.

Those are all files that you can edit through the "File manager" page. They can't be reached from the FTP site because we can't give direct access to the PB folder.

When editing, make sure that you include the "pb" folder in the name. For instance, "pb/pbsv.cfg".

So basically I have to either create them myself or upload them through the File manager... correct. Just asking because those files currently don't exist on my server.
