Tim, you have way more tolerance for server crashes than i. After my servers go down i lose the desire to play in them. Although that could be because my client crashes every 20min at the worst time.

Hopefully manually updating pb as dice recommended will fix it for me.

lol - the good old days. :D I had forgotten that.

I guess we're all still at it.

Thanks for the heads up - here's the update:

Battlefield 4 Launch Stability Update

The launch of Battlefield 4 is in full swing and the majority of our fans are having a good time. We’ve noticed that some players on PC are experiencing crashes, something that we understand can be frustrating. Rest assured that we are working to address these issues.

If you’re having problems, please make sure to follow these steps:
-Make a clean install of PunkBuster by removing your original install and re-download the client.
-Repair the Battlefield 4 installation by right-clicking on your game inside of the Origin client.
-Make sure that you have the latest drivers for your graphics card.

AMD: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download

Nvidia: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx

Note that the recent issue where players that were using AMD cards on Windows 8 would get a red screen has been fixed with the recent AMD graphics cards driver update.

Also note that we are aware of the issue of players not being able to join a queue for game servers. We hope to resolve this issue resolved.

Please help us gather more information about issues by posting at EA Answer HQ.

Every single one of our servers, including empty ones, just crashed at about 12:13 PM Pacific Time.

Just got this in my Cpanel from NFO Event Update.

BF4 server version R3 (87254) has been released and DICE told us to deploy it immediately, so we are applying it to your server now.

We haven't been told yet whether we can release a changelog, but we know that this build does not address crash bugs. Those fixes will need to come later.

Jeez, would of been nice if we could of manually applied it instead of clearing out a full 64 player server... especially if this patch doesn't fix the crash issues!!

NFO was just following DICE's requirement.

I really don't understand DICE's logic at times. Let's force GSP's to apply a server fix immediately without warning to thousands of servers. If this was an enterprise doing this to paying customers, they would be fired.
