Re: Server Crash
at least you guys are still getting traffic. it takes 4-5 players before mine fills up immediately. also i see players join and then they never appear. i would take crashes and traffic over nothing.
Re: Server Crash
Appears that crashes are getting worst. Definitely going down almost every map change. What a failure, they should be ashamed.
Re: Server Crash
I think they need to release and R11 as fast as they did R10 or something. Ridiculous to see a server fill, crash at the finish of the round, then start to populate and crash at the start of the round.

I've removed the admin daemon, and removed the NFO map-cycler and let it run plain CQCLASSIC to see what would happen.
Did this reduce or stop your crashing by making these changes?

Re: Server Crash
LOL! They had a banner at the top of battlelog for about 20 minutes saying they were aware of the crashes and are working on a fix...but it has since been removed.SergeantFox wrote:Wow... R11 Coming soon?
I guess they finally gave up.

Re: Server Crash
Just found that when running a second round on a map it doesn't crash, but when changing to a new map the server crashes.
Conquest 64

Re: Server Crash
Too soon to tell, but my server was able to change map from Siege to Dam w/o crashing. Now that I've said that, it'll prob crash in a few minutes.SergeantFox wrote:wihgaming wrote:On mine, after every crash, it fills up really really fast. Re: Server Crash
Word is it's an issue with the live scoreboard causing crashes. They're working on a solution and expect a fix very soon.
Re: Server Crash

Re: Server Crash
New Message on Battlelog:
We have recently recovered from 2 separate crash issues that have been identified and eliminated. Please log out and in again to Battlelog and rejoin the Battlefield!
Re: Server Crash
I don't think that'll fix a server crash but hey, I could be wrong.. I feel bad for the guys at NFO that have to deal with this mess.
Re: Server Crash
From a DICE rep on reddit:
Hi,
I agree with you all, this is bad. We have identified the bug that causes the round transition crash and a fix is rolling out (its not a new server but a new config).
We do have test servers up from time to time to test the servers before they roll out. We could not do this with R9 as it required the new client patch and we rushed out R10 to fix another crash fix.
We are discussing internally how we can improve this in the future. One idea is to more extensively have the community help out (those who want to) to test new builds.
