Server still crashing..
Re: R7 Patch Discussion
I think R6 was more stable in terms of server crashes = / There were still crashes but now the time in between each is a whole lot shorter.

Re: R7 Patch Discussion
Any news on the rubber banding effect that was occurring on certain maps? (Resort/Railway/Storm/Dam) Or the sound issues? I assume the sound issues are client related but the rubber banding was a new problem caused by one of these updates.
Re: R7 Patch Discussion
I can confirm that rubber banding is fixed on Golmud Railroad and Paracel Storm. Unfotunately our server just crashed and was full and of course unrelated to R7 we had a blaze disco this morning.

Re: R7 Patch Discussion
what about the missing audio on railroad?
Re: R7 Patch Discussion
Been reading these forums since I got my server a week ago, so thought I'd post some feedback.
Prior to this patch, I could choose a preset map cycle then choose to use the map cycler. This would allow the server to still be an option under the "Play Now" option according to the notes in the NFO control panel.
Now, if I choose a preset map cycle, it sticks to that preset cycle regardless if I check the box to use the map cycler. I went ahead and changed the preset to "(use your map cycle)" so that my map cycle works as desired. This caused my server to be listed as "Custom", so I also went ahead and checked the "Refresh "Normal" preset every 5 minutes?" setting.
Now the server is listed as Normal, but I can't tell if it comes up under Play Now or not. I'm not sure I really care either, just something I wanted to point out.

I think this is a client-side issue, no?underclocked wrote:what about the missing audio on railroad?

SoCalMX70, I tested this and the map cycler is still working for me in Official mode when a "Preset map cycle" is chosen. My test involved restarting the server, using !nextmap to change the map, looking at "maplist.list" to confirm that the new map list was implemented, and then using !nextmap to test and make sure it went to the correct one after this.
Re: R7 Patch Discussion
Ok I'll try again shortly. Funny I did the exact steps you just described.Edge100x wrote:SoCalMX70, I tested this and the map cycler is still working for me in Official mode when a "Preset map cycle" is chosen. Re: R7 Patch Discussion
Certain servers going down after round officially starts & disconnects all day! Thank You Dice!
Re: R7 Patch Discussion
Ok, got it working... although I had to save the changes, restart the server, then save the changes again. Oh well, good to go!

Re: R7 Patch Discussion
Anyone know if Operation Locker and Lancang Dam are still crashing?
I've crashed every day, at least twice, since the release...
I removed Siege and Locker on like the 3rd day and that helped, but we still had crashes. I removed Lancang yesterday and the server has been full, and hasn't crashed, since...
/Knocking on wood that posting this doesn't cause my server to crash...
Thanks,
-GvnrRickPerry

Re: R7 Patch Discussion
My Domination(64 slot) server was stable all yesterday and for about 4 hours today, then it crashed 2 times in one hour.
Well this sucks...
