R8 Update Notes:
*Fixed promo and special dogtags showing up as blank in-game
*Lowered damage caused by Mobile AA Active Radar missiles to aircraft
*Added server support for live scoreboards on Battlelog
*Improved server crash reporting and performance tracking

Anybody have an idea if this fixes Siege? Don't have the time to test now, but I'd love to add back into our rotation.

I can test it, but as some people said it seems to be a client side issue since it never crashes the server itself, just kicks 70% of the people on the server.

Events log lists that this patch doesn't identify as additional crash fixes, so doubtful anything has changed except for what's listed above. I wouldn't expect much until they announce the client update.

Please revert my server back to R7 because I crashed FOUR TIMES in 2 hours with R8. Server lasted 4 days with R7..........

Same. Just constantly crashing now. We get 4 people in and then when the game tries to start it crashes!

This game was at least 6 months away from being an half decent release.

It is ridiculous what they are putting the players through.

In my opinion it was quite ridiculous that EA/DICE had released R8 with such little attached. All this wait time since R7 and that's all that was sent out?

Kind of funny... all these players complaining about their purchased game product not functioning properly and expecting compensation. Maybe we'll get lucky and be given a free title as they did with Sim City at best. As for those paying a larger sum of money for servers, doubtful we'll get anything for our troubles. Watching a lot of top ranked servers atm struggle to even recover players since R8 earlier this morning.

Yup. R8 blows. 1 hour of full server and BAM! crashed where R7's been solid for days. I'd like to be reverted back to R7 too if that's possible.

R8 has been bad for our 32 player server. Crashed twice so far. Rubberbanding that was never an issue before. I was in a tank and when I got out at the bomb site in Obliteration it would teleport me back to where I picked the bomb up at.
