mani-admin > maplist

Post by yester64 »

hi,
just came to this provider and i like it.
i had on my old server mani_admin installed and everthing actually worked well.
i only have a problem with my maplist.
user get to vote maps from the mapcycle.txt and admin could select maps from maplist.txt.
this is all selected within mani so far.
now, as a admin you do not get anymore the maplist.txt, instead it looks like the maplist from nuclear.
is there anything i could alter or change. i really like it to have it running again, the maplist.
thank you

p.s. its mani 1.2r

Have you edited the maplist.txt in your root directory at all yet? You would need to add any custom maps to this list. For further support, I recommend that you contact us on live chat which is on the control panel as well.

yes, i did.
i mean its the same maplist i had on the other server.
everything is copied 1:1 to the new server. i assume everthing should be working the same way.
the files are there, but it looks like mani does not load the maplist. ?!?!
weird...

You need to tell mani which list to use when voting. Look in your mani.cfg for this line:

// Define the file to use for random map vote
// 0 = mapcycle.txt, 1 = votemapslist.txt, 2 = maplist.txt
mani_vote_mapcycle_mode_for_random_map_vote 0
