I NEED HELP!

ok , i purchased a server from you guys , and the rcon password was like fjinqniqpfnqpnfq , ok everything was going good till i uploaded cal.cfg that i got from a clans website and now the server changed name to theres and the rcon has been changed !!! ?!? !?! ?? i have no clue what to do plz help me

They probably just define a name/rcon in cal.cfg. You can restart your server to have it run server.cfg again, if you get confused.

Not only can you do what Edge just said but you can also do the following.

Go to your Control Panel.

Click File Manager

In the drop down menu selec ./cal.cfg

Open it up to edit it.

There should be a line that says

rcon_password "thepassword"

change the rcon password to your password

find the line that says

Hostname "the servers hostname"

edit it to

Hostname "CAL CS Match Server" (<- default) or "Yourclan CAL CS Match Server"

then just run the config again and all should be well

Someone there will be able to help you as well. Or if you can get a hold of me Ill fix it for you, if you are still having a problem with the cal.cfg file.
