Server crashing

For some reason my server has been crashing alot lately, today it has crashed 3 times. Is there anyway to stop it from doing so?

Are you saying that the game server is crashing, or the VDS? By which type of server, I meant the type of game server, unless your full VDS is crashing.

Many games have known bugs that can lead to crashing behavior. L4D has many of them, for instance, as does the latest version of DoD:S. Source-based servers can be brought down fairly easily by certain DoS attacks, and there are a few plugins out there that partially address this.

I'm not trying to sound like a broken record by asking you again and again for this. I just can't give you targeted advice without this information .
