We are having a real problem with the server crashing/players crashing the server. Basically everytime the server crashes, it brings up an error box, which has to be 'OKd' manually. I have the -nocrashdialog command in my startup, I've even disabled error reporting in Windows. I can't stop this box appearing. I run FireDaemon but because this error message keeps appearing, technically FireDaemon thinks the server is still running because the .exe is.
Is there anything I can do?
How can I make sure my server is up all the time?

If you're running CS:S, I'd recommend running the three plugins mentioned here: http://code.devicenull.org/index.php?ti ... 2_Exploits to start off with.
On the dialog box, FireDaemon can be configured to click "Ok" on those. You just need to know the title and name of the button that i t needs to click, then configure it to do so via the Dialogs page: http://forums.firedaemon.com/video/pro- ... alogs.html
You could also run a monitoring program separately that restarts the server if it stops responding to queries. I am looking for a good one that would work with FireDaemon and not having much luck, but I'm sure they exist.

Thank you. I'll look into FireDaemon more and Serverdoc.

On our full machine i like to use SeverChecker.
It supports 100 games, works fine for all valve games and CoD4/5.
Serverchecker ReadMe
Download (bottom of first post for download link)
It does require you to turn off windows error reporting or it won't be able to start the server back up. Some games you will have to figure out which game type works best. The only server i have trouble adding is Shattered Horizon.
It's the best free one i have found that doesn't require you to run multiple instance of the program.
