Re: Information on upcoming BF:BC2 version R12
Just wondering what the delays are behind not releasing R12...
Re: Information on upcoming BF:BC2 version R12
DICE did post some additional information in response to my request, in the original thread. They added this:
From what they've told us, they're continuing to work on these crashes.Edit: As you noticed this patch didn't release on time and we are currently fixing some crashes on some maps which has been found by QA. Once we have a new release date I'll update this post and probably make more posts about the new release date.
Re: Information on upcoming BF:BC2 version R12
If anyone's curious, I'm waiting for the new version to be released before making further adjustments to the daemon, because I have already adjusted for the new version and those changes can't be pushed out until it's rolled out. The wait is frustrating for all of us.

It looks like they removed the option to remove vehicles from gameplay. I was really looking forward to that one.
Re: Information on upcoming BF:BC2 version R12
In the most recent version, you can either remove all vehicles, or remove no vehicles; they took out the ability to remove specific types of vehicles. You can also set the vehicle respawn delay.

Hopefully we don't have to wait for the Vietnam update for this patch lol

DICE is (slowly) allowing us to have control over more and more files. Why didn't they just do this in the beginning ?
Re: Information on upcoming BF:BC2 version R12
Initial versions of the game had security problems related to the files. Some files also just weren't read/used yet, because features hadn't been developed.
