It sounds like you have a Trojan running on your VDS that happens to have a bug that caused it to crash and show up in your system log.

There are a variety of ways that you can pick up Trojans, but the most common one is by running an untrusted .exe file that installs it. Others include:

* Visiting a website that exploits a current bug in Windows or Flash
* Opening a PDF file that exploits a current bug in the Adobe PDF reader
* Not running the latest OS updates, allowing Windows itself to be exploitable
* Using an insecure (easily guessed) server password
* Running a Source-based server as Administrator without also running anti-exploit plugins (it's best to do both -- I will work on posting a guide for this, but the Orangebox beta also resolves most of the exploit issues)

At this point, I'd recommend that you back up your configuration files and settings and then start over with a clean install of Windows. You should follow the basics in this post, after the reinstall is complete: http://www.nfoservers.com/forums/viewto ... =44&t=4025. You might also consider running a firewall, if you aren't sure how you were infected before.

I will do some further investigation and make sure that the base installs are up to date. Where exactly were you seeing this error?

It looks like StealthBot is not actually a trojan, but something that you're choosing to run. I.e., the bot from here: http://www.stealthbot.net/forum/

I am not familiar with this particular application or what it does, so I can't be of much use in troubleshooting a workaround for this bug. But, updating to the latest version and contacting the author about the issue if it continues are definitely good next steps.
