Remote Desktop Need Help ASAP

Post by Duffnexter »

i run mu online server and there is 2 ppl who control server box me and other dude, the problem is, when one person its on machine than other one can log in with out kicking him out, and i dont have a problem with it but my problem is that if i run server start up witch is loading 9 applications than the other dude cant look in application if there was any error or any other thinks he might do in it more examples: reload monsters reload shops etc, to turn off server or just restart it i have to shot down the applications in task manager and thats a big NO NO, if i do it than ppl start complain " hey i lost my wings or items that i found 3 min before restart and i want it back" so i dont want it to happen to make sure i can avoid something likie that i have to open 2 of 9 applications and set automatic shot down in 1 minute other whise it wont save all.
is there anyone who can tell me how do i restore all running applications so i can control them ?

Win2k3 allows two sessions at once for the administrator. To access the screen session that he's been using, you need to have him disconnect, and you'll need to disconnect, and when you next connect, Windows will ask you which one you would like to connect to.

Even better is to only have one person on the server at a time, disconnecting when he is done. Win2k8+ enforces this by only allowing one session.

Firedaemon is a way that you could also run your servers in the background so that either session can stop/start them.
