The new maps don't appear to have been made available yet. I do not yet know when DICE plans to unlock the new mappack.

To confirm the list of all the maps supported by the server, I used the rcon command "admin.supportedMaps <playlist>". Right now it shows this:

Code: Select all

> "admin.supportedMaps" "rush"
OK
Levels/MP_002
Levels/MP_004
Levels/MP_006
Levels/MP_008
Levels/MP_012GR
Levels/MP_009GR

> "admin.supportedMaps" "conquest"
OK
Levels/MP_001
Levels/MP_003
Levels/MP_005
Levels/MP_006CQ
Levels/MP_007
Levels/MP_009CQ

> "admin.supportedMaps" "sqrush"
OK
Levels/MP_001SR
Levels/MP_002SR
Levels/MP_005SR
Levels/MP_012SR

> "admin.supportedMaps" "sqdm"
OK
Levels/MP_004SDM
Levels/MP_006SDM
Levels/MP_007SDM
Levels/MP_009SDM

I received confirmation from DICE that map pack 3 will be enabled separately. They want to respond to any concerns about this new patch combination before releasing it.

If we use !ban soldiername does it ban soldier name or the players GUID?
Also what happens to the banlist when the server is rebooted or crashes.

The soldier is banned by his GUID, both in PB and in the regular game. The banlist is saved and loaded again if the server is restarted.

I added !sayto and !yellto tonight, as well as the ability for reasons to be specified for !kick / !tban / !ban, because they were easy to do. Surf314 and others, I'll do my best to work on your suggestions soon as well, as they are good ones.

Can you add the ability to kick players based on their ping? In BC2, players with a ping of about 350 or higher are just too hard to "hit" and unbalance the game. Also, there should be a "immunity list" for certain players that we can define. You could set it up so that the system would warn the player a few times before they get kicked. They can come back in though. Sometimes maybe a player is running windows updates or something in the background and they don't know it. But a kick system would get their attention. Any thoughts?

Yes, those are good thoughts and mentioned earlier in this thread, as well. When I have the opportunity, I will be exploring a high ping kicker and warn system.

Lately (in the last 2 weeks)
When you use !kick !ban or !tban is gives and error saying we are trying to move some one

example copied from server status page in control panel
tHaKaREe: !kick thak idle timeout
Server: You specified invalid team/squad numbers for the player(s) you are moving.
Any ideas

ALso I couldn't edit my post so here is another question

In squad deathmatch there are 4 teams.
When you try to move players to any other team but 1 or 2 Alpha or bravo it is impossible because charlie and delta are 3 and 4 and those commands arent recognized it will say invalid team/squad. Any ideas on that?

Sorry if these have been answered but i cant see myself reading through 14 pages and search wasn't turning anything up for me.

It looks like this was because you were specifying a reason string, and it wasn't handling the reason string correctly. I've fixed the bug now and you're all set.
Apparently John fixed it for us. But The problem with the moving people (ingame)and team numbers is still puzzling me Although you can use procon to do I prefer the admin daemon you guys have built. I think its great...

Could you give me an example of a command that is responding with an error for you?

!move thak 4 1

team 4 delta squad in deathmatch

but !move thak 1 1 and !move thak 2 1 would work to move me to team alpha or the second to team bravo...

There is no way to move to 3 1 which would be charlie or 4 1 delta

I assume 1 becasue there is only 1 squad on each team in deathmatch
