When i try to login to my server through hlsw and to set up the stats im having a problem with the server recoginzing the rcon password. The gameme stats arnt connecting to the server due to rcon password not being correct. I have the rcon password set in the server.cfg file. But when it does not recognize that password in hlsw or gameme stats.
Sorry for all the questions, im novice lol

Have you restarted the server since you set this?
If you type "rcon_password" in the console window for the server, does it show the right one?

yes it does show the right one. we cant just login to hlsw says failed.

Does rcon work through the game client? If so, it is possible that they changed the rcon protocol.
