Hi,
Im curious to know..how to display my custom adverts in the css server?
I also Added a map via FTP but does not show up in mani menu,Am i doing something wrong?

Mani reads a file on your server to decide which maps to display in the menu, but which file it uses can be different depending on how Mani is set. You will need to check your Mani settings for that.

Mani also has an option that can be enabled to display adverts in your server. You can set what exactly it shows in the adverts.txt file.

The best way to show advertisements in the server would likely be with a Sourcemod plugin. I don't know one off the top of my head (apart from the built-in message displaying system), but I'm sure there are a ton .

Mani can use one of a few lists for determining which maps can be voted for. You might try adding your map to mapcycle.txt or maplist.txt, as these are most commonly used. You can define the file choice itself in your mani.cfg file -- "mani_vote_mapcycle_mode_for_random_map_vote" is the cvar to look for there.

Thanks got the adverts working fine...Im sure ive turned of the swishing sound,but yet you can still here it.

Ive added the map to the maplist txt..& the map bsp but ingame i get missing map?
something im missing?

Do you have downloads allowed? That is, if you don't already have the map it would start downloading it from the server if this setting is turned to "1".

I now see that you meant that you can't select it from the menu and are getting "missing map" in that regard and not in the way that I thought. Sorry.

Hmm i dont think i have...will have a look.
I have added the map bsp and added the map to the maplist.

It does show in my mani..when i select it to change to that map in my mani ,I get missing map

Look for anything in there that relates to maps, like the cvar that I posted about.

i looked in the cfg/server.cfg file and "sv_allowdownload 1" is set correctly,
still get missing map.

Upload map via ftp cstrike/maps ,added it to the maplist.txt..still get missing map.

Do you have sv_downloadurl set to something in your server.cfg file? If so, you will likely need to upload the map to your web space also so that it can download from there.

Also, if the map is larger than 16MB, you will need to add this to your server.cfg file:

net_maxfilesize 64
