Post ubuntu 11.04 problems
After upgrading from ubuntu maverick, to natty, the server is unpingable and cannot be ssh'd into. Any suggestions?

Something may have went wrong. I suggest trying it again. Also, how are you upgrading?

If this is a VDS server, I would recommend using the VNC console to verify your network configuration.

I haven't tested 11.04 yet on a VDS myself, but if it follows in Debian's footsteps and uses a PV-on-HVM kernel, it probably has renamed or changed your virtual ethernet adapter. I would suggest taking a look at "ifconfig" and "dmesg" output and seeing what the adapter may now be called, and adjusting your configuration accordingly.

VNC console let me get in. Apparently it was hanging at the grub boot screen trying to let me choose an option.
