vgui menu problem

Umm one more thing... for some reason one of my friends CS got jacked and the VGUI menus is enabled... how do we disabled it??? pls give me command in console because he has CS MOD version and it don't show "VGUI menus and Old Style Menus" under Customize.
Oh and we tried to do the setinfo _vgui_menus 0 but then it made his cs that he can only buy pistols, like when he press B it only have the menu for pistols.

I dont know much about this, but my CS uses the new menus, and in MY config its
setinfo "_vgui_menus" "1" ...
Maybe that can help, sorry if it doesnt

Also hitting "defaults" in controls puts it to the new menus.
