Single Core VDS Questions.

Post by duhdho »

I'm Thinking about getting a VDS, and I'm wondering If a Single Core VDS would be enough to run 2 L4D servers, and a 15-20 slot Mumble Server.

Most likely, yes. But, how you'll be cutting it a little close to the limit on memory with the L4D servers, and you might run into some problems if they are very intensive due to plugins/maxplayer extensions.

Would they be able to handel Rotoblin? with 8 players and up to 8 spectators on each L4D server?

I'm not familiar with Rotoblin, so I can't speak to that specifically, but it's worth a try. The worst case scenario is that you might have to consider upgrading to a 2-core or cancelling during the free trial.
