How Do U Restrict AWPS?

I wanted to know if there is a way to restrict awps? so i dont have to go in and do amx_restrtict all the time?

If you are using the newest version of amx, which is still beta I beleive, you need to amx_restrict then amx_save. I am sure that command will save your restriction.

ok so the command will be like this

"amx_restrict 4 6" then "amx_save"

Now since CT's And T's Dont have the same buy key for the AWP will that restrtict the wrong wepon?

Ok for a few I had awps restricted on my server and in the name I clearly started NO AWP but for some ppl they still want to test ya so I used this plugin Drop AWP 1.5/1.6 and what it does is it lets them buy an awp but throws it on the ground evrytime they try to pick it up or when any one trys to pick it up. So they dont get there awp and all there $ they were saving is gone and funnier to watch too.
Also they got a AWP to Scout one if you fell like being fairer

ya thats a great plugin for those non awp servers, I personally like the awp --> scout bought one.

With the latest version of AMX (0.9.6j) there is an AWESOME restriction menu that is included. Just type amx_restmenu and you can restrict any weapon or equipment at the push of a button. Then push 8 to save that configuration. You can also restrict the use of shields with this menu. Hope that helps!
