Hey guys, I was looking for a generic Rcon utility which will run on Windows... something I can use to connect with the Minecraft server. Something basic, which will just connect and give a console... no fancy command buttons or anything like that.
I'm having a problem just finding a real basic one, for Windows at least. Everything seems to be 'game specific' and HLSW had difficulty connecting.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

If HLSW doesn't connect than it's problems on your end or on the servers end. HLSW always connects to the server unless the server doesn't allow it. Now whether or not HLSw supports the game you want..here is a full list of supported games by HLSW http://wiki.hlsw.net/index.php/Category:Supported_Games
Re: Rcon For Windows
HLSW does not support Minecraft, AFAIK.
Is this an unmanaged server or a managed server? If managed, you can use our control panel to see the console. If unmanaged, you would generally need to connect to SSH or the Windows desktop to see it, though some plugins may also allow this functionality.

Minecraft isn't fully supported through HLSW but it is indeed supported.Edge100x wrote:HLSW does not support Minecraft, AFAIK.

mystical, I believe that's some funky workaround system that particular company set up.
The game itself does support rcon with a custom protocol, but it's not well-documented, and I don't know of good tools to use it.

It's pretty basic but I suppose it has what you need.
