Our "Lite" plan's 50 concurrent connections allowed are enough for nearly all of the sites we host. This is because each client that connects to a website typically only needs the connection to be open for a small fraction of a second while the client downloads the page; after that, it is closed, and does not count toward the total.
With a busy forum, for instance, forum pages might take 0.2 seconds to load. This means that about 250 people could load a page each second, assuming they don't load them all at the same time, and realistically the site could handle many more users than that, because each user is not clicking a new link every second.
50 connections seems very small! Will it be enough?
