Having issues with custom maps and downloading

Trying to get a custom map so it will download to users and completely failing.

This is what I have set.

sv_allowdownload 1
sv_downloadurl "http://straightshooterscg.com/CSGO/"

Inside the folder is the map folder with all the maps however I get this when I connect.

Host_Error: Server sent bogus string index 1024 for table modelprecache

At which I simply get kicked.

THat seems to be a issue with the map itself however even if I try to get the server to download me one of the normal maps it just hangs there and does nothing even in console.

Trying to get downloading to work with nothing.. Tried a http site and a ftp off of the vps itself and nothing all I seem to get is this.

I was getting the same crap as this at some point
I really wanna get Nuke_VE going on my server so people autodownload

Problem is I can't seem to get downloading working at all.

when you go into your server on a map that loads and you type sv_downloadurl into your own console, it should replicate the exact setting on your server so if your server is set to sv_downloadurl "mywebsite.com" and you go into console on a map that loads, type sv_downloadurl and press enter, it should return "sv_downloadurl mywebsite.com", (as this is a replicated cvar and the client needs to interpret it for downloads to work), make sure it shows up, if it does not, it may need to be set into the gamemodes_server.txt, not the server.cfg.

I have tried that however When starting the server the console calls sv_allowdownload a unknown command so something else is at works here.

it's part of the sourcemod plugin that is provided with the system. last i checked, unless it was removed I wouldn't know why.

I'm gonna take a wild guess,but it might have to do with the custom models,sprites & sounds.I believe the only way to currently add custom content like that is by editing the pak.vfk files directly.There's a way to do this in L4D2 here ,http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki ... c_Tutorial,but someone on SM boards tried with CSGO & it didn't work.I know this why the play sound function doesn't work in SM.The owner or NFO support reps might be able to help you on this better than i can.I wouldn't recommend editing pak.vfk files unless you know what you're doing.

Problem is I cannot get downloading to even try to work not even with standard content However other people have it working.

Are you using NFO for your hosting or another provider.I'm going to assume you have the bz2 files uploaded to your site & the uncompressed versions on your server.Check your log files on the site to see what happens when someone tries to connect and download a map etc.
