Hi i am new at this and then this afternoon I will rent a VPS / Full machine called Eight core I added several things and I have several questions and I wanted you to clarify these doubts

the machine that is going to rent this Eight core
I added these things
  5120 memory
  bandwidth 3000
10 Extra Ips
Located in atlanta

is in Windows Server 2008 R2

the doubts I have are these

1 - If I rent that machine handed over to me at once or I have to wait some time?.

2 - I would give support in things I did not do?.

3 - How many trike 1.6 Counter Servers could do with that machine of 1000 FPS each server

Please answer the issue as fast as possible ..

Hi,

We have automatic set up here so as soon as you start the subscription it will start the set up process. Depending on the OS you picked the average wait is about 30-60 minutes.

2 - I would give support in things I did not do?.

That depends if you plan on going with managed or un-managed. Managed means you loose access to the machine itself but in return you can set up an unlimited amount of gameservers on the box, which come with a control panel.


Un-managed means you are responsible for everything, setting up the servers, updating them, tweaking..etc.

3 - How many trike 1.6 Counter Servers could do with that machine of 1000 FPS each server

That depends on several factors. How big will these servers? Will you be running a lot of plugins? It also heavily depends on the machine that your VDS is put on.

Also keep in mind that with you choosing Windows and being on a VDS you will see more of a fluctuating FPS.

It would probably be best if you went with a managed machine.

If games are the only thing you are going to be hosting then Managed all the way.

Best with managed unless you intend to host a game that NFO doesn't offer.
Then you would require unmanaged. (Requires more work)
