Hello,
Since GOTV was released yesterday -- is there any plans to include GOTV as an option to add to our 11 slot server?
Looking forward to having this functionality available since the CEVO tournament starts on Monday.
Thanks!
sensi

Re: GOTV
I haven't had time to look into this very deeply, but if it works like SourceTV, it's something that you can enable without needing anything from us.
Early reports are that it might not be working properly yet.

Re: GOTV
I have been struggling to make it work but it is now working!
Here's what you have to do;
tv_enable 1 = Enable GOTV.
tv_autorecord 1 = Record all matches (I suggest you to turn this option to 0 because it will make your server laggy/timing out)
tv_name = name of your GOTV
tv_maxclients 5 = set the number of clients that can connect to it.
---
So what I did;
1- Open up server.cfg and add the following line;
// GOTV Settings
tv_enable 1
tv_autorecord 0
tv_name BYETV (name it whatever you want)
tv_maxclients 5 (because I don't need more, its actually just for recording)
Restart your server.
Connect (yourself) to your server.
You won't see GOTV if you press TAB (in the player list) but its there!
Open up the console, type in your rcon_password.
To record you type: rcon tv_record name_of_the_demo
To stop recording: rcon tv_stoprecord
To stop GOTV at all: rcon tv_stop
By default, GOTV will start with the port 27020.
So if your server is for example 100.100.100.100:27015, you GOTV will be 100.100.100.100:27020
That's it, enjoy!
PS: All demos will be store in your server FTP under the folder CSGO. They are all .dem files.

Re: GOTV
As of right now, yes, it does use a player slot.
