VDS Redirect Servers

I was wondering if I purchase a VDS will I be able to install HLDS to run redirect servers for Counter-Strike:Condition Zero?

These are the servers that display as 31/32 users playing and when someone connects it redirects them to a different server I.P.

Did steam or vac ban these servers?

This can be done on an unmanaged VDS. I have not heard anything about Valve banning such servers yet, but it has been awhile since I looked. We have an older guide on setting them up here:

So I would only need a VDS with 1 GB of RAM to run 50 redirects? So the cheapest VDS single core plan would work?

Also, do you know where I can find the plugin for amxx or metamod?

That should work for a small VDS, yes. I'm not sure where you would find such a plugin, so you'll need to search around for that part.

And to make it seem full, I just ran podbot in each server to it seems there's users playing. I first started doing it about 6 years when not many did it and it worked extremely well. Now, doesn't work as well as everyone does it.
