Hello, i have my server. and im trying to http://MYSITE.site.nfoservers.com/
make it so you have to log on to access. It is working atm but i dont want it to have to logon to go to forums, which is where i have sourcebans at. I have these directorys... public/store ... public/server... public/phpadmin ... and public/forums .. <-- forums is where sourcebans is. and im trying to make it so all the store/phpadmin/server req. logon but forums doesnt. Can some1 help me?

You could set the specific folders to require a login individually instead of having a single global login. It may be best to have your Sourcebans install in a different location than your forums, though.

I would imagine using the same method you already have, but put that method/files/whatever into the specific folders instead of the root or main public folder. If your method does not allow this, we talk about a way to do this here: http://www.nfoservers.com/forums/viewto ... =19&t=3736

im using .htaccess and .htpasswd but i cant get to work. I dont need user and pass for ALL my directorys only my /store as phpadmin already has a user/pass needed to logon.

Have you tried using the directions in the link from my last post? The method you are using is the same method.
