How to block all trafict except few ports and applications?

Hi,

It's with Windows Firewall in ws2k8r2x64.

I wan't to know how do i block all trafict TCP/UdP except for ports i.e: port1, port2, port3, port4, port5.

And also allow 4 applications TCP/UDP inbound.

As aditional, is there a way that i set a rule like this?

Allow TCP/UDP inbound where local port is port8 and remote address is domani.com (or also can be an IP)

All of these rules should be straight forward to setup. Have you taken a look at the Getting Started guide on the Microsoft website? It has a lot of good info: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/libr ... S.10).aspx

Basically, you would choose inbound rules, create a new rule, then follow the step-by-step prompt.

Basically from what you wrote, and from my past experience and knowledge, the way to do this would be via the Router. Using your router you can choose to portforward certain ports and allow certain programs through. Or to allow programs / applications through your firewall, what you would do is open up your control panel, then go to firewall, allow an app or feature through windows firewall, then add another app, and follow the steps given, if you need anymore help just reply and I'll reply as soon as I see your message!
