This isn't a game that I've heard much demand for and I have not yet investigated if it is something that we can host. If demand increases, I will try to fit in time to look at it.
In comparison to other AA games, it runs on the same files and engine as AA3, but they have reduced the map size and graphics greatly to improve the lag and server load. Restricted it to max of 24 slots instead of 26.
Since it is AA3 completely reworked, it runs far better then AA3 ever did.
Other providers are pricing the slots the same as AA3, but we run a proving grounds server and are finding it's running at 1/2 to 1/3 of the resources that AA3 did. Big improvement.
It's still in open beta, no screenshots yet, and punkbuster runs but no anti-cheat function yet. Anti-cheat companies are streaming, but not checks available for hacks yet. I think everyone is waiting for it to be upgraded from beta.

We never supported AA3 primarily because it didn't support direct querying -- but also because there wasn't much demand. I don't know if they've fixed querying in this new version.
Sim, new games can be great but it is not trivial to add and maintain support for a game, especially if it is in alpha or beta (these are naturally buggier and have more frequent updates). We've learned our lesson over the years that many (perhaps most) new games aren't worth the investment, and we need to choose which ones we do support wisely. I have not yet explored the possibilities with AA3.
Customers can always run any games that we don't directly support on unmanaged VDSes, of course -- that's one big advantage to them and their low price points. It shouldn't be necessary to go to a different host and give up the benefits of our stable and high-performance network, hardware, and service levels/SLA.
Creating your own Proving Grounds server is rather easy with the Server Control Panel.
You also have to apply for your honor credentials which you no longer have to pay for. Completely free now. I think Steam might be hosting it since I think they are now part of it all. Might explain why it looks so TF2 like.
