Hanging on Checking bootstrapper version ...

Hi NFO,

I just ordered a new Linux VDS and I am currently trying to install HLDS files to my server.

I have followed these steps:

mkdir srcds_l
cd srcds_l
wget http://www.steampowered.com/download/hldsupdatetool.bin
chmod +x hldsupdatetool.bin
./hldsupdatetool.bin
./steam

Now I am stuck hanging on this message.

I was reading on some forum about IPtable rules, but I do not want to try anything until I get some feedback here.

After about 20 minutes it magically worked...

sounds about right for hldsupdatetool. for future reference, steamcmd works better imo.
