Node.js

Post by WackyIraqi »

Just a quick question, is there any support for Node.js here?

I've been looking to tinkering with it and would like to know if it is supported.

We do not support Node.js on our shared hosting, but an unmanaged VDS would be perfect for this application.

I have a separate host for this, because I want to run nodebb. If say I also have registered my own domain, bf4gamer.com, what would need to be done to automatically forward users there should they try to access the domain via web browser?

On your VDS, make sure that node.js is set up to respond and working with the bare IP address. Then, define an "A" record through your registrar's DNS control panel to point to your unmanaged VDS's server IP.
